Decks, steps & railings
New stairs and rails built from scratch, and old ones pulled out when the wood has gone soft underfoot.
The jobs that are too small for a contractor to book and too big to lose a Saturday to. Cody answers his own phone, six days a week.
Two lines is plenty.
Recent work
One job, at a house in Louisville. Nothing on this page is a stock photo.
What we do
New stairs and rails built from scratch, and old ones pulled out when the wood has gone soft underfoot.
Panels that blew off, cracked or worked loose, matched and put back so the patch does not read from the street.
Porch columns rebuilt where the base has rotted, and drywall put back properly after whatever caused the hole got fixed.
The awkward one-off jobs that other outfits price high or will not put on the schedule at all.
How it goes
A photo of the spot saves a trip and gets you a straighter answer on price.
Cody walks it with you and tells you what it needs, not what it could turn into.
The job gets done and the mess leaves with him.
About
Affordable Maintenance & Repair is Cody Moy. He served in the Marine Corps infantry, and he runs the business much the same way — he picks up the phone himself, he turns up when he says he will, and he does the work rather than sending someone.
The jobs are the ones nobody else wants on the schedule: a rail gone soft underfoot, a run of siding that blew off in a storm, a porch column rotted through at the base, drywall to put back after something else got repaired. Small, awkward, and exactly the things that make a house start to look neglected when they sit.
In their words
“Cody is one of the easiest people I’ve ever worked with. He’s always quick to answer the phone and get the job done in an unremarkable amount of time.”
— Mikayla Jackson, Google review
“Most other services have incredibly long wait times or are over priced. Cody at Affordable Maintenance & Repair has done several jobs across our properties including some custom work that would be difficult or costly for other services.”
— Josh P., Google review
“He was courteous, prompt, reasonably priced, and the work was high quality.”
